These items are hand-sketched by Halston himself, each showing the kind of silhouette he wanted to achieve. 

The very nature of these sketches, on lined paper, imperfect from being passed around during the creative process, some dog-eared with scribbled notes, gives us insight into the workings of the mind and the process of this brilliant fashion designer.

This particular "Seasonal Little Black Dress" sketch is on aged yellowed notebook paper, with a slight marks along the top after being pulled from the tablet by Halston.

Each sketch includes a certificate of authenticity with artwork provenance. Signed by Nancy North.
