Halston, born Roy Halston Frowick, was a legendary American fashion designer who rose to fame in the 1970s and throughout the 1980s. Halston was known for his minimalist, glamorous designs. While gorgeous "Halstonette" models walked the runway, celebrities wearing Halston danced the night away at Studio 54.
One of Halston's unique talents was his ability to effortlessly hand-sketch his designs, a signature of his work.
We currently have more than 250 authentic Halston sketches, and are proud to offer a small selection here, which have been archived since Halston's death in March 1990.
